The service

SnapID provides a free browser-based tool that crops photos to official passport and ID dimensions, adjusts backgrounds, and generates print sheets. The service is free of charge, with no account required.

Acceptable use

• Use the tool for your own photos or photos you have permission to edit
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service or misrepresent generated photos as officially issued documents
• You are responsible for making sure your photo follows the rules of the authority you are applying to

No guarantee of acceptance

SnapID guarantees the technical output: dimensions, pixel sizes, background colors, and file-size limits. Whether an authority accepts your application also depends on how the photo was taken and on rules that change over time, so we cannot guarantee acceptance by any passport office, portal, or embassy.

Liability and changes

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for rejected applications, missed deadlines, or any loss resulting from use of the tool. We may update these terms as the service evolves; continued use means you accept the current version.
